RIO GRANDE

sedwards1495 Erupts, PopPop4126 Benches the Winner, and EaglesRx Can't Lose in Rio

Harold Fannin entered Sunday projected for single digits and left with two touchdowns, and @sedwards1495 fanned that spark into a wildfire. Brock Purdy threw four more, the lineup posted the week's top score, and @nseldeib absorbed a 53.46-point loss on the same day Tyler Loop drilled a 56-yard walk-off in Rio. Right kicker, wrong scoreboard. @sedwards1495 hasn't dipped under 127 all season, which is less a hot streak than a home address.

That Rio thriller had a fantasy subplot: @EaglesRx started Lamar Jackson and CeeDee Lamb on opposite sidelines, the one game no manager could lose, and the season's first win finally arrived by hedging the NFL itself. @PopPop4126 drew the opposite fortune. Juwan Johnson caught two touchdowns from the bench while Dalton Kincaid fumbled in the lineup, and that one swap turns a loss into a win. The call that did land, Josh Allen over Jared Goff, landed by 0.10, the same sliver that separated @TurkeyTime1 and @ActuallyLogan in different games and bought neither of them anything. Meanwhile @jmass ran the tidiest lineup in La Liga, and @kellengil won with the eighth-best score, a reminder that the schedule makes a fine assistant GM.

Up top, @alysson2114 rides Jahmyr Gibbs into first, and @alexeldeib stays perfect with Jaxon Smith-Njigba doing everything, passing included. That's three 3-0 teams and three 0-3 teams, with a nervous middle class in between. Next week @jmass takes a swing at @alexeldeib's unbeaten record, and @sedwards1495 meets @Wasabi209 with the projections calling it a coin flip. By Sunday night, La Liga finds out whether Harold Fannin was a gust or the forecast.
