STILL HUMMING IT

Gibbs You Up Hits Every Note, The (P)Rice Bids Wrong, and Nabers Find the Basement

The pun-name showdown went exactly like the song. @alysson2114 never gave up a thing, as Jahmyr Gibbs and D'Andre Swift turned one backfield into a five-touchdown karaoke night and left @Wasabi209 deserted on the dance floor. Colston Loveland caught nothing while the Bears' offense exploded around him, and the rest of You'll Never CMC Me Again mostly hummed along. One commissioner down, one to go.

The other commish, @jmass, won comfortably and still botched the showcase: The (P)Rice is Right started Terry McLaurin (3.4) over Jalen Coker (33.8), the fantasy version of spinning the Big Wheel and landing on five cents. Nobody tell Drew Carey. @sedwards1495 beat @kellengil with the week's seventh-best score and a trophy shelf that argues with itself, Kenneth Walker hogging one end while Ja'Marr Chase sulks at the other. @EaglesRx posted the fifth-best score and lost anyway, because @alexeldeib's waiver-wire kicker and defense outscored the margin by themselves. And @ActuallyLogan's lineup wasted barely a crumb in a cruise past @TurkeyTime1.

Down in the basement, @nseldeib and @kellengil finished 0.12 apart in different games, a photo finish for nobody's prize. It's one week, so nobody gets fitted for a crown or a coffin yet. But the table already has a team to chase, and the group chat already has a song it can't get out of its head.
